Who we are
JUDCO Communications is a Southern California technology contractor based in Escondido. Serving Southern California since 2007, led by 34 years of hands-on experience, we design, install, program and support the audiovisual systems, conferencing, structured cabling, fiber and networks that modern buildings run on. We also supply the equipment, so a client can buy the whole system from the team that will stand behind it.
Our legal name is JUDCO, LLC. We do business as JUDCO Communications, and we are an SBA HUBZone certified small business, a California certified Small Business (Micro) and SB-PW, and a DIR registered public works contractor holding CSLB license 1124756 (C-10, C-7).
How we think about the work
We believe the best technology is the kind people stop noticing. A meeting should start with one touch. A courtroom should be ready when the judge takes the bench. A network closet should be labeled so clearly that anyone can trace a cable. That standard shapes how we design, how we build and how we hand over.
We keep one team on the job from the first site walk to the last test. The people who scope the work are the people who answer for it, and that accountability shows up in clean installs, honest schedules and documentation that matches what is in the wall.
Leadership
JUDCO is led by Judd McWhorter, whose 34 years of hands-on experience span low-voltage construction, audiovisual integration, control programming and large multi-site programs. That field experience is why we plan around real buildings: occupied floors, night shifts, courthouses at night and owners who cannot afford downtime.
Where we work
We serve San Diego, Orange, Riverside and Los Angeles counties directly, and we deliver standards-based programs beyond California, including a multi-state Teams Rooms standard from California to New York. Our scale suits projects from a single conference room to a county program of more than one hundred courtrooms installed at night.
