Crestron and control systems programming
One touch to start. The same layout in every room. Code that is written to be maintained.
Technologies we deploy
Overview
Crestron and control systems programming, done right.
Control is what people see and touch. A good interface hides a complex system behind a few clear choices; a bad one turns a meeting room into a puzzle. JUDCO Communications programs Crestron and other control platforms with consistent layouts, fast feedback and logic that recovers cleanly from power loss or a cable pulled at the wrong moment.
We write programs to be read and maintained. Room logic is built from tested modules, interfaces follow a shared standard and every system leaves with documented source files. That makes the second room faster than the first and the hundredth room the same as the second.
What we deliver
What is included.
Touch panel design
Clean, branded interfaces that follow one layout across every room type.
Room logic
Startup, shutdown, source routing, volume and camera control that behaves the same every time.
Divisible room control
Partition sensing and combine logic for multipurpose spaces.
Device integration
Displays, DSPs, codecs, cameras, lighting and shades under one control.
Scheduling and occupancy
Rooms that wake on arrival and shut down when empty.
Fleet standards
Shared program masters so improvements reach every room.
Testing
Programs tested against a simulated processor and hardware before site work.
Documentation
Source files, signal maps and notes delivered to the owner.
Approach
Masters, versions and tested code
We keep a master program for each room type. New rooms are created from the master, so a fix or a feature is made once and copied forward. Every change is versioned, so we always know what is running in which room.
Before code goes on site it is tested against simulated processors and touch panels. Crews arrive with a program that already works, so on-site time is spent on connecting and tuning, not debugging.
Interfaces are designed for people who are not technical. Large, labeled buttons, clear status and a single way to do each task. If someone needs training to start a meeting, the interface needs more work.

Project
Courtroom control standard
For a county court program, JUDCO built a courtroom control standard covering evidence presentation, audio, video conferencing and recording. Each courtroom was created from the same master and deployed quickly with the same interface.
How we work
One team, start to handover.
- 01
Site walk
We see the space, the pathways and what is already installed.
- 02
Design and estimate
A clear scope, drawings and a written budget estimate.
- 03
Build
Equipment, cabling and programming by one coordinated team.
- 04
Commission and hand over
Tested, labeled, documented and ready to use.

FAQ
Questions we hear often
Do you only program Crestron?
Crestron is a core platform for us, and we also program other control systems used in conferencing and AV. We recommend the platform that fits your rooms and support needs.
Will we get the source code?
Yes. Owners receive the program source files and documentation for their systems unless contract terms say otherwise.
Can you fix or update a program someone else wrote?
Yes. We review the existing code, recommend whether to update or rewrite and carry the system forward.
Can the touch panel match our brand?
Yes. Interfaces can use your colors, logo and naming while keeping a clear, consistent layout.
How do updates reach many rooms?
Because rooms are built from a shared master, a change can be tested once and deployed to each room with a documented version.
