Overview

Video walls, LED and digital signage, done right.

A video wall is a construction project, a power project, a network project and a content project all at once. JUDCO Communications handles each part, from structural backing and service access to processors, content players and the schedule that keeps the screens fresh.

We install direct-view LED for seamless, high-brightness walls, narrow-bezel LCD for close viewing and detail, and networked signage for lobbies, wayfinding, menus and announcements. Each choice is driven by viewing distance, ambient light, budget and how the content will be managed.

What we deliver

What is included.

  • Direct-view LED

Pixel pitch chosen for viewing distance, with front or rear service access designed in.

  • LCD video walls

Narrow-bezel tiled displays for lobbies, operations rooms and detail-heavy content.

  • Lobby and feature walls

Statement displays planned with architects for structure, power and finish.

  • Digital signage networks

Players, content management and scheduling across one building or many.

  • Wayfinding and menus

Clear, current information where people make decisions.

  • Processing and control

Wall processors, scalers and simple control for switching layouts and sources.

  • Structure and mounting

Backing, frames, mounts and service clearance coordinated with the trades.

  • Calibration

Color and brightness matched across tiles and set for the space.

Approach

Seamless takes planning

We start with the viewing experience: where people stand, how far away they are and how bright the space gets at noon. That sets pixel pitch, brightness and size, which in turn set structure, power and cooling.

Large walls are mocked up in the design phase so owners and architects can approve the look before anything is ordered. We coordinate backing, electrical circuits and data with the general contractor early, so the wall lands on a ready surface.

After installation we calibrate the wall, set content layouts and train the people who will manage it. Signage networks get a simple content workflow so updates do not need a specialist.

A typical scope

Multi-display public lobby

A typical lobby wall starts with structural backing, power and data coordinated with the builder, then a tiled display installation and signage scheduling so staff can update announcements from their desks.

How we work

One team, start to handover.

  1. 01

    Site walk

We see the space, the pathways and what is already installed.

  2. 02

    Design and estimate

A clear scope, drawings and a written budget estimate.

  3. 03

    Build

Equipment, cabling and programming by one coordinated team.

  4. 04

    Commission and hand over

Tested, labeled, documented and ready to use.

FAQ

Questions we hear often

LED or LCD: which is right for us?

LED is seamless, very bright and scales to any size, which suits feature walls and bright spaces. LCD walls offer high detail at close range and usually cost less for smaller walls. We recommend after looking at the space and the content.

What is pixel pitch?

Pixel pitch is the distance between LED pixels. Smaller pitch looks sharper up close but costs more. The right pitch depends on how close viewers stand.

Who creates the content?

Your team or your agency usually creates the content. We set up the players, templates and schedules and show your staff how to publish.

Do video walls need special power or cooling?

Often, yes. Large LED walls draw significant power and produce heat. We size circuits and ventilation during design and coordinate with your electrical contractor.

Can you service walls installed by others?

Yes, after an assessment of the hardware, processors and spares available.
