Overview

Teams and Zoom Rooms, done right.

Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms promise a simple meeting experience, but they only deliver it when the room, the hardware and the network are set up properly. JUDCO Communications installs certified room systems so that people walk in, tap join and start talking, with clear audio and a camera view that frames the whole table.

We work alongside your IT team. They own the tenant, the accounts and the policies; we own the physical room, the cabling, the mounting, the audio tuning and the testing. That division keeps each team doing what it does best and gets rooms online faster.

What we deliver

What is included.

  • Platform selection

Teams Rooms on Windows or Android, Zoom Rooms, or a dual-platform room, matched to how your organization meets.

  • Certified hardware

Bars, codecs, cameras, microphones and touch consoles drawn from the platform's certified device lists.

  • Intelligent cameras

Speaker tracking and group framing sized to the room so remote people see faces, not ceiling tiles.

  • Audio that carries

Ceiling and table microphones, DSP and echo cancellation tuned to the room's acoustics.

  • Network readiness

Cabling, switch ports, PoE budget and quality-of-service checks before the hardware arrives.

  • Room booking

Panels and scheduling displays that show availability and let people claim a room at the door.

  • Pilot and standards

A proven pilot room becomes the template for every room after it.

  • Handover and adoption

Short user sessions, quick-start cards in the room and a clean handoff to your help desk.

Approach

Standards first, then scale

Most organizations do not need one perfect room; they need dozens of rooms that all work the same way. We start by defining room types, usually small, medium, large and specialty, and a bill of materials for each. Then we build a pilot of each type and test it with real meetings before ordering at scale.

During rollout we track every room the same way: pre-wire, mount, connect, tune, test, document. Each room is closed out with photos, a test record and a labeled rack or credenza, so your IT team can see exactly what was installed where.

We have delivered these standards across multiple states, coordinating shipping, site access and local crews so the room in New York matches the room in California.

  • Room type definitions and equipment lists
  • Certified bars, codecs and peripherals
  • Microphone and speaker systems
  • Displays and mounting
  • Cabling, PoE and network coordination
  • Scheduling panels
  • Testing with live calls
  • Close-out photos and documentation

Project

Conference room standards and national rollout

JUDCO developed tiered Teams Rooms standards for small and medium rooms, large rooms and boardrooms, with scheduling panels, on Crestron Flex, Shure ceiling microphones and Sony displays. Each tier has a documented bill of materials and drawings, so every room gives users the same experience. The standard has been installed in San Diego, Chicago, New York, Boston and Washington DC, and JUDCO manages the rooms through XiO Cloud. The program has run since December 2021.

FAQ

Questions we hear often

Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms: which should we choose?

Use the platform your organization already meets on most. If you meet on both regularly, some certified devices support either, and we can configure a room for the platform you use most while keeping guest join available for the other.

Do you set up the accounts and licenses?

Your IT team typically owns the tenant and licensing. We coordinate closely, provide the device details they need and complete the physical setup and testing once accounts are ready.

Can you upgrade our older video conference rooms?

Yes. Many legacy rooms can keep their displays and cabling while the codec, camera and microphones are replaced with certified Teams or Zoom hardware.

How do you make sure every room is the same?

We use a written room standard, a fixed equipment list per room type, the same labeling scheme and a test checklist that every room must pass before close-out.

Do you install outside Southern California?

Yes. We serve San Diego, Orange, Riverside and Los Angeles counties directly and manage multi-state rollouts for clients with offices elsewhere.
