Overview

Network and Wi-Fi, done right.

Modern AV and conferencing run on the network. Cameras, codecs, displays, microphones and control panels all need ports, power and predictable bandwidth. JUDCO Communications installs and configures switching and Wi-Fi so your network supports both your users and your rooms.

We work with your IT team or act as it for smaller sites. Survey, design, installation and configuration are done with the cabling, so access points land in the right places and every port is documented.

What we deliver

What is included.

  • Wireless surveys

Predictive and on-site surveys to place access points for coverage and capacity.

  • Access point installation

Mounting, cabling and configuration with clean, documented placements.

  • Switching

Access and distribution switches with PoE budgets sized for real loads.

  • AV networks

Dedicated or segmented networks for audio, video and control traffic.

  • Configuration

VLANs, quality of service and settings agreed with your IT policies.

  • Outdoor wireless

Coverage for patios, yards and campus spaces.

  • Small office networks

Complete networks for small sites without a full-time IT team.

  • Documentation

Port maps, access point maps and configuration records.

Approach

Designed with the cabling

Wireless works best when it is planned before ceilings close. We survey, model coverage and capacity, then place access points and cabling together so the design is built as drawn.

AV over IP and conferencing traffic has specific needs. We plan multicast, quality of service and PoE with your IT team so audio does not drop and video does not stutter.

At handover you receive port maps, access point locations and configuration records, so the network is easy to support.

  • Surveys and design
  • Access points and mounting
  • Switches and PoE planning
  • AV network configuration
  • Testing and validation
  • Port and AP maps
  • Coordination with IT
  • Ongoing support options

A typical scope

AV-ready campus network

On a campus, cabling, switching and access points go in alongside classroom AV, so every room goes live with network, wireless and AV tested together.

    Commission and hand over

Tested, labeled, documented and ready to use.

FAQ

Questions we hear often

Do you replace our IT team?

No. For larger organizations we work under your IT team's direction. For small sites we can provide the network installation and configuration directly.

Why does AV need special network settings?

Audio, video and control traffic is sensitive to delay and loss. Settings like VLANs, multicast handling and quality of service keep it reliable.

Do you do wireless surveys?

Yes. We perform predictive and on-site surveys to plan coverage and capacity.

Which brands do you install?

We install enterprise network equipment from major manufacturers and match your existing standards where you have them.

Can you install outdoor Wi-Fi?

Yes, with weather-rated access points and proper mounting.
