Service
Structured cabling and fiber
Every run pulled, terminated, tested and labeled. The backbone comes first.
Technologies we deploy
Overview
Structured cabling and fiber, done right.
Every system in a building depends on cabling no one sees. JUDCO Communications installs copper and fiber infrastructure with the same care we give the equipment it serves: correct pathways and support, clean terminations, clear labels and certification test results for every link.
We build horizontal cabling to the desk and the ceiling, fiber backbones between closets and buildings, and the telecom rooms that tie them together. Because our team installs both cabling and AV, the infrastructure is ready for displays, cameras, access points and conferencing on day one.
What we deliver
What is included.
Copper cabling
Cat6 and Cat6A for data, PoE devices and AV over IP.
Fiber backbones
Singlemode and multimode fiber between closets, floors and buildings.
MDF and IDF builds
Racks, cable management, grounding, patching and labeling.
Pathways
J-hooks, tray, conduit coordination and firestopping of penetrations.
Certification testing
Every copper and fiber link tested, with reports delivered.
Moves, adds and changes
Small changes done cleanly and documented.
Cleanup and abandoned cable
Removal of dead cable and tidy closets that are easy to work in.
Documentation
Labeling schemes, as-builts and test results that match the field.
Approach
Neat is a performance spec
Tidy cabling is not cosmetic. Supported, separated and labeled cable is easier to troubleshoot, keeps its performance and makes the next change faster. Our crews dress every bundle, respect bend radius and leave service loops where they belong.
We test every link before we call it done. Copper is certified to its category, and fiber is tested for loss. Results are delivered with the as-builts so you have proof, not promises.
On occupied sites we plan around operations, working nights and weekends where needed and closing ceilings and closets at the end of each shift.

Project
Courthouse infrastructure at night
For a large county court program, JUDCO installed cabling and fiber alongside courtroom AV, working nights so courtrooms were ready for proceedings each morning.
How we work
One team, start to handover.
- 01
Site walk
We see the space, the pathways and what is already installed.
- 02
Design and estimate
A clear scope, drawings and a written budget estimate.
- 03
Build
Equipment, cabling and programming by one coordinated team.
- 04
Commission and hand over
Tested, labeled, documented and ready to use.

FAQ
Questions we hear often
Cat6 or Cat6A?
Cat6 suits most office data. Cat6A supports higher speeds over full distances and handles higher-power PoE better, which matters for access points, cameras and AV over IP. We recommend based on what the cabling will carry.
Do you test every cable?
Yes. Every copper and fiber link is tested and the results are included in the close-out package.
Can you work in an occupied building?
Yes. We schedule around operations and can work nights and weekends to avoid disruption.
Do you install fiber between buildings?
Yes. We install campus fiber backbones, coordinating pathways and terminations at each building.
What license do you hold for cabling?
JUDCO Communications holds CSLB license 1124756 with C-7 (low voltage systems) and C-10 (electrical) classifications.
